Role Summary
The Digital Account Lead role is an integral position that merges the expertise of digital project management with the strategic and client-focused approach of an account lead.
This role demands a deep understanding of the latest digital trends, technologies, and advancements, ensuring the delivery of innovative digital solutions.
The Digital Account Lead is tasked with leading digital projects from conception to completion, acting as the main liaison between clients, design, and development teams, and ensuring projects meet strategic objectives and client expectations.
Responsibilities
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, managing relationships, expectations, and communications throughout the lifecycle of digital projects.
- Collaborate with design and development teams to ensure seamless project execution, from responsive design and development to the setup and management of Google Tag Manager, web servers, and hosting.
- Ensure KPI's are met for clients and report on the performance
- Set up and present proposals to clients for approval, driving new business and strategic initiatives to grow key accounts.
- Ensure all content, work produced, and outputs speak to excellence and that all work has been QC'd before client submission.
- Assist in the formation of digital strategies and proposals, contributing to the continual improvement of the digital offering.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Proven track record in managing digital projects, with a strong understanding of SEO, responsive design, and digital marketing strategies.
- Excellent written and grammatical skills, with effective communication abilities to engage clients and team members.
- Experience using a variety of CMSs (WordPress, Joomla, Drupal, Statamic, Shopify) and digital tools (Looker, Twilio, Zapier, Make).
- Familiarity with Google Analytics, Google / Microsoft Ads, and social media analytics and reporting platforms.
- Ability to lead and manage project teams, ensuring deadlines and client expectations are met.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, ideally within the advertising or digital marketing industry.
- A proactive problemsolver who consistently seeks innovative solutions in the digital realm.
- Strong leadership and relationship management skills, capable of fostering teamwork and client trust.
- A detailoriented individual who ensures quality control and adherence to client branding and guidelines.
- An agile learner, continuously pushing the boundaries of their digital knowledge and skills.
