REQUIREMENTS

  • Strong Team player.

  • Confident to host tours and tastings.
  • Effective verbal and listening communication skills.
  • Considerate and customer centric.
  • Strong motivation and excellent customer service.
  • Sales orientated.
  • Wine industry knowledge / customer servicerelated industry experience.
  • Own reliable transport will be advantageous.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • To maintain the standards and customer service level at Groot Constantia.
  • To ensure guest satisfaction and maximise profitability.
  • Responsible for the effective and efficient running of the cellar tours, vineyard tours, wine tastings, wine sales while contributing to delivering the highest level of customer experiences.
  • Ensuring that tours are conducted timeously and according to standards.
  • Act accordingly by adhering to the policies, procedures, rules, and regulations of Groot Constantia.
  • Wine sales consultants must have knowledge of how wine is supposed to taste, using his or her expertise and education about grape varieties or regions along with harvest times, climates, soils, and the overall winemaking processes.
  • Ensuring that the Wine Sales and Cellar Sales areas are ready and set up before openings.
  • Upselling of products and services of Groot Constantia.
  • Opening and Closing checklist completion of designated areas.
  • Assist with events in an outside working hours and premises when required.
