Our client, specializing in the labour relations industry in the Kwa-Zulu Natal region, is seeking a
Credit Controller (and Office Supervisor).

Your primary goal would be to resolve all account queries and ensure all accounts are up to date.

It is your foremost responsibility to ensure the accuracy of the information entered onto the system while maintaining a high level of company confidentiality.

Duties include the following, but not limited to:

Financial Administration

  • Ensure all debit orders are loaded in the system on time
  • Manage allocation of payments to correct accounts
  • Ensure all accounts are up to date
  • Manage and amend new and existing establishment statements
  • Manage Account reconciliations
  • Avail client statements on request
  • Ensure submission of all client break downs of outstanding fees (arrears) and account reconciliations
  • Process ad hoc invoices and credit notes
  • Import of bank statements as well as incoming payments from the suspense account

Client Relationship Management

  • Attend and assist all walkin clients
  • Ensure timeous response to client queries and concerns
  • Escalate urgent matters to the Finance and Administration Manager

Data Capturing

  • Manage and ensure consistent employee data input and removal from system
  • Capture and update employee information regularly and in time
  • Manage the addition and closing of establishments in the system

Reporting

  • Compiling of monthly reports indicating queries, recommendations and actions taken
  • Avail a collection figures report to the Finance Department

Administration

  • Ensure all establishment files are kept up to date

General Office Administration

  • Ensure cleaner and staff sign attendance register
  • Submission of attendance registers to Finance Department
  • Manage courier services for area in conjunction with Finance Supervisor
  • Order stationery and refreshments as well as purchasing ad hoc items when needed in conjunction with Finance Supervisor
  • Chairing of meetings and taking notes (includes minute taking where needed) as may be required by the Finance and Admin Manager
  • Supervision of the daily operations of the office, including liaison with staff

Requirements:

  • Matric
  • Diploma in Credit Management would be advantageous
  • 35 years' experience in Credit Management/Control
  • 3 years' experience in Office Administration
  • Through understanding of SAP system not negotiable
  • Sound understanding of credit control
  • Bargaining Council experience an advantage

Salary:
R CTC, pension fund contribution (compulsory)

Salary:
R12,862.50 per month
