Purpose of the job:
The purpose of this role is to ensure all administrative activities within this area are carried out effectively and efficiently and assist with daily administrative operations within the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and post receipts, deposits, purchase orders, invoices, and refunds.
- Manage accounts receivables and accounts payables.
- Prepare, track, and reconcile ledgers.
- Create financial and inventory reports.
- Identify and correct miscalculations and financial discrepancies.
- Provide Admin Support to the Finance Manager
Skills & Proficiencies:
- Minimum of Grade 12 certification
- Must have completed a 3 or 4year Accountancy Qualification at a recognised Higher Learning Institution
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar position
- Must be proficient in MS Office specifically MS Excel
- Proven work experience as a finance administrator or similar
- Able to quickly learn and adapt to new software and processes.
- Working experience on Pastel advantageous
- Team player who possesses leadership skills
- Good communication skills, verbal and written.
- Good command of English and one other official language
- Attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational skills and multitasking abilities
