Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Litigation Secretary to join our team at HR Guy. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to our litigation team, ensuring the smooth operation of our vehicle and asset finance division.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing administrative support to the litigation team, including drafting and preparing legal documents, such as affidavits, summonses, and section 129 notices.
- Managing a high volume of matters, approximately 30 per day, and ensuring timely completion of tasks.
- Liaising with banks, debtors, sheriff offices, and other role players to resolve disputes and manage litigation cases.
- Performing administrative tasks, such as data entry, record-keeping, and filing.
- Providing strong communication and customer service skills to internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements
- Gr 12 / matric qualification.
- 4-6 years of previous experience in a vehicle and asset finance position, preferably in a banking environment.
- Functional experience on systems such as AJS, DM11, and Lexpro.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Working Conditions
The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks and deadlines. Strong organizational and time management skills are essential for this role.
Salary and Benefits
The salary for this position is R13,000.00 - R15,000.00 per month, negotiable depending on experience. The successful candidate will also be entitled to medical insurance and a provident fund.
