    Job Purpose
  • To deliver Trust, Accounting and Taxation services through enabling others, by serving as Nominee/Corporate Trustee and Trust Practitioner to clients in line with Nedbank and Nedgroup Trust business strategy

Responsibilities:

  • Complete financial viability analysis of each client, and that valid, accurate and complete fees are taken from each trust.
  • Ensure Trustee functions are executed with quality and turnaround standards inline with processes, standards, systems, services & assets.
  • Deliver on Project targets, drive and define the standards and outputs in teams for delivery on projects to ensure reduction of cost and risk in the business.
  • Retain existing clients by crossselling relevant products.
  • Provide specialised trustee/nominee expertise to clients of the business in all areas of Trust management.
  • Plan and attend to review and revision of trust deeds, trustee resolutions and minutes as required and as per cycles in trusts determined by complexity.
  • Create a client service culture through various required interventions and meet all agreed client relationship, service and satisfaction objectives.
  • Ensure client objectives and requirements are executed with care, skill, and diligence.
  • Participate and contribute to new business or retention initiatives.

  • Build trusting and sound working relationships with manager, peers and other departments to deliver results to the common client.
  • Ensure annual plans are defined and in place & resolutions are done to meet clear objectives and reduce delivery time to clients.
  • Actively manage processes standards for quality, quantity, turnaround times to meet risk, regulatory and business due dates and requirements.
  • Identify areas of resource inefficiencies and promote optimisation through multiskilling and addressing capacity gaps.
  • Understand and live the Nedbank Vision, Values and Goals and ascribe to the People Promise and Nedbank Way.
  • Acquire the required skill, professional/technical expertise and assist in development of others
  • Provide training and guidance to the trust department on processes, fiduciary and trust administrative matters and trustee training to external cotrustees where required.
  • Deliver consistent Trust Management results by developing; building; maintaining and using a repository of forms; precedents and processes.
  • Ensure regular training is undertaken to ensure knowledge about Laws, regulations and compliance is kept up to date and relevant
  • Oversee the implementation, execution, review & corrective action to be taken.

People Specification

  • Essential Qualifications
  • NQF Level
  • Matric / Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate
  • Advanced Diplomas/National 1st Degrees


 Preferred Qualification
  • Post graduate qualification in management with exposure to Trusts.
  • Post graduate Fiduciary Diploma
  • Bachelors Degree in Law, Accounting or Tax
