Reporting to the Head of Content, you will be working closely with colleagues across the marketing and communications team to develop and execute the content that builds the Apex Group's brand and reputation globally.

You will help facilitate, implement and analyse content across all external channels, as well as help to streamline the processes surrounding those.

You will need to be highly motivated, organised, adaptable and an excellent communicator. An interest in and an understanding of financial services is a must.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support in the content creation process across a variety of channels, coordinating closely with the Content Operations Manager and Head of Content
  • Be the gatekeeper for our tone of voice ensuring all content adheres to the correct tone, spelling, date format and lexicon
  • Proof read content as part of the content approval workflow to ensure accuracy
  • Plan and deliver content aligned to the content calendar to cover events and product promotion
  • Producing interesting and engaging written summaries of webinars and events
  • Work with the SEO manager to ensure content is in line with strategy and gains maximum exposure
  • Learn from the operations and analytics teams what content works and align with content strategy
  • Support the Content Operations Manager with ensuring the consistent use of our content management tool Welcome
  • Ensure content is produced in a timely manner and meet deadlines
  • Work with external agencies as required on content production, briefings and proofing
  • Plan, organise and collect recordings for podcast production, write show notes, promote and monitor analytics of podcasts
  • Support the Content Operations Manager with ensuring content requests are managed through agreed content SLAs and the content acceptance toolkit
  • Support the broader marketing team in developing and delivering effective content, including:
  • Facilitating in the creation and execution of communications across the group (e.g., monthly newsletters, sales social posts, blogs, memos)
  • You will provide support to the Head of Content, as and when needed, including:
  • Support ad hoc research and media monitoring tasks for trends
  • Help coordinate drafting of award entries
  • Repurpose existing content to maximise content value and longevity finding ways to update it, and/or turn it into new forms of content such as infographics etc.
  • You will keep informed and up to date with the latest tools and content trends to ensure our programmes remain fresh, contemporary and engaging
  • Support the Head of Media Relations as required
  • General administration and day to day production support for busy content department
  • Assist in the management of a multilevel programming calendar

Skills required:

  • Min 3 years in content or communications role preferably in financial services
  • Demonstrable ability to write engaging and wellstructured copy
  • Excellent writing skills and attention to detail
  • You will need experience in and a passion for creating content, both written and visual, that supports our brand awareness and lead generation efforts
  • Degree educated ideally in an English, business, communications, marketing or journalism
  • Exceptional written and verbal communications skills, with excellent levels of English
  • Able to manage multiple tasks in a fastpaced environment.
An ability to think creatively

  • An ability to delve into technical content and translate it into engaging and thoughtprovoking messages
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to build strong relationships across geographies and levels
  • Highly organized and able to work in a fastpaced environment
  • A selfstarter who proactively seeks out stories that will be of interest to Apex Group employees or our external stakeholders
  • Quick learner, able to pick up new skills and learn how to use new digital tools including Internal comms platforms, Media relations platforms and webinar software
  • An interest in financial services
  • Experience in Microsoft office tools is a musthave
  • English qualification at degree level required
