building and construction industry. The successful incumbent will have experience in

solution-based sales as well as the ability to grow and develop

strong client relationships. Good communication and negotiations skills as well as proficiency on MS Office are essential requirements.

Main Responsibilities and Duties

  • Market the company's products, services, and solutions to prospective and existing clients in the property development, architectural, project management, and engineering sector.
  • Be comfortable dealing with clients at a senior level (architects, QS, management, and director level).
  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations and full quotations explaining products or services to prospective customers
  • Liaise with customers and technical crew to assess needs and determine requirements.
  • Communicating new product developments to existing and prospective clients.
  • Conduct research to identify potential new markets and customers
  • Keep records of sales and forecasts.
  • Managing the sales function from start to finish, including all processes, communication, and documentation
  • Assist with the development of marketing literature and strategy
  • Attain monthly GP and Turnover targets

Education and Experience

  • Grade 1
  • Driver's License and own vehicle
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook
  • Proven sales track record
  • Prior experience in Decking, Flooring and Construction / Building Industries is an advantage
  • Proficiency in English an advantage would be Afrikaans
  • Good communication and negotiation skills, verbal and written ability to build relationships and maintain customer relationships
