THE JOB AT A GLANCE


As the Strategy Support Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the formulation and implementation of key business strategies in keeping with AIT aspirations.

This includes (but not limited to) identifying industry and competitor trends, translating these into business opportunities, and supporting response efforts to the opportunities.

You will also be responsible for enabling the governance of strategy in the Division. This includes (but not limited to) managing the divisional strategic planning process and strategy calendar.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

Strategy Formulation:

D Drive the research into industry practices and trends and produce the relevant reports.

Strategic Support and Planning:

q Implement the AIT strategy calendar.

q Drive the annual business planning process.


q Produce regular updates to strategic documents that easily explain to various stakeholders' program or project level tactics and direction.


q Responsible for the team calendar, and plan far in advance with the Leadership team to ensure a rhythm of meetings, workshops and team-building activities keep the entire team in sync, aligned and motivated.


q Own the team's macro project management schedule, working with the CIO and Heads to ensure project and task scoping is clear and correctly prioritized in line with strategic goals and budget.

q Build trackers and reporting tools to check progress against team/program KPIs.

Data Analytics and Insights Generation:

q Analyse the impact of market developments and changes (incl. regulatory change)

q Ensure efficient and effective reporting strategy implementation outcomes.

Project Management?
& strategy implementation:


q Responsible for the creativity for social change platform development and management, the MSKF's stakeholders' knowledge sharing and community development initiative.

q Managing short
- and medium-term special projects. These could be events, desk/market-research, proposal writing, and modelling.

Systems/ Leveraging Tech:

q Explore how the team can get the best out of technology tools for improved productivity. Slack, CRM, community management tools etc.


q Support the management of key technology service providers, like web developers, and any other technology partners, to facilitate creativity for social change platform management and development.


Customer and Employee Insights:


q Use customer and employee insight to drive innovation and to ensure that all appropriate channels are used to reach and engage with different target audiences.


Team Effectiveness:

q Contribute towards creating a climate of optimal team performance

q Complete assigned work according to deadlines and defined work standards

q Collaborate with operating units and functional areas.

Other Responsibilities:

q Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment, be flexible and switch quickly to new projects and idea.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO THE TABLE?

q NQF Level 8:
Honours Degree

q Minimum 5 years' experience in business administration, management consulting or project delivery

q Excellent understanding of business operations and procedures

q Strong data/information sourcing and analysing to drive strategic insight.

q Experience in project execution teams.
