How you'll role

The marketing account manager will be responsible for the management of clients and stakeholders.

You are a creative, self-motivated individual with a keen visual sense and passion for good design. This position works with multi-disciplinary teams on various corporate communications briefs. You will experience the innovation process of projects in many different mediums, and it is your responsibility to communicate ideas to clients and stakeholders ensuring briefs are translated by the design team for the client. You must have the ability to work well under pressure and tight deadlines, with the possibility of working after hours. You will be involved in all phases of each project – from initial concept through to completion. You must have an interest in visual communication and be comfortable working solo "in the zone" as well as in a brainstorming group or creative session.

What you'll do

Stakeholder Management:

Serve as the primary point of contact for all assigned projectsWork with the Account Director to run projects as briefed by clientsCoordinate and schedule meetingsAttend weekly status meetingsMaintain effective communications and relationships between clients and internal team members by providing continuous updates on project statusesCommunicate with client to keep the project aligned with their goalsCollaborate and manage external stakeholders as required per projectPresent concepts to clients

Project Management:

Understand project requirements and objectives, develop plans and timelines to ensure successful execution and deliveryDelegate tasks on the project to employees best positioned to complete the taskBrief internal teams and partners and have regular status check in with them to ensure the project remains on track with the clients timelinesServe as a point of contact for teams when multiple units are assigned to the same project to ensure team actions remain in synergyCreate and manages projects within the chosen Project Management toolWork with the Creative Director to optimise workload and assignments across the Creative TeamTraffic all creative projectsManage project execution and timelines from creative inception to final deliveryManage the campaign review processEnsure clients brand guidelines and tone are adhered toLead team meetings on project progressPerform quality control on the project throughout development

Creative Management:

Review and manage the work presented by the internal teamMonitor the change and quality of creative output from the Creative TeamsWork with the creative team to develop the most appropriate and effective materials to meet the client objectives

Proposals:

Assist the Creative Director / Account Director with generating costings and quotes for projectsAssist with creative concept and strategy for campaign proposalsWhere applicable, assist with the development of presentations for proposalsWhere appropriate, assist with the design of proposal elements such as mockups

Reporting:

Generate progress reports for clientsGenerate monthly reports for stakeholders

Creative Conceptualisation and Strategy:

Work with the team and Creative Director to develop creative concepts and strategies for creative briefs, campaigns and proposals

Creative Copywriting:

Interpret creative briefs to develop copy for creative executionWrite original copy and edit content for internal communication piecesRevise copy based on internal and client feedbackEdit and proofread copy as needed

Social Media Copywriting:

Create copy for banners and social media postsSource images and other content for social media postsWhere applicable, create LinkedIn captions for clients as required

Content Scheduling:

Using social media marketing tools, schedule and manage the posting of client social media calendarsPost social media posts to LT/C Suite clients personal pages

Content Creation:

Generate social media postsGenerate posts and calendars in conjunction with copywriters for clientsGenerate posts for LT/C Suite clients personal pages

Social Media Monitoring:

Where appropriate, monitor client's LinkedIn pagesWhere appropriate, remove and/or report objectionable comments from client accounts on social media platforms

Other:

Collaborating with co-workers, partners and suppliersVarious other adhoc duties as assigned

What you'll need

Bachelors RequiredBachelor's degree in art, graphic design, or related fieldThree to five (3-5) years of experience working in a creative atmosphereThree to five (3-5) years of experience as a Project / Account ManagerMust have a working knowledge of and MAC operating systems, Adobe Premiere and Adobe Creative Suites and Microsoft office, Dropbox & G-suiteAbility to work well under pressure, multitask and meet strict deadlinesAbility to work well with all levels of staff, partners and suppliersMust possess good communication skills
