Role Purpose
Effectively project manage the team's workflow from start to completion.

This includes briefing in requests, clarification of those requests, liaising with the client during the process, sending completed jobs to the client and handling all the logistics.

The above implies good people skills, and the ability to form relationships that enable good communication. Also managing key projects over the year to ensure overall project success and adherence to timelines.

Requirements:

  • Post matric qualification in Marketing / Communications / Business administration
  • Project Coordination / management experience (Minimum 2 years experience)
  • Experience in Digital marketing environment or processes (Minimum 2 years experience)

Duties & Responsibilities

INTERNAL PROCESS

  • Coordinate and manage briefs, production and review of marketing project elements
  • Engage with the client to ensure the brief is correctly understood, and negotiate reasonable timelines
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to communicate the details of the brief and allocate the project in line with available resources
  • Critically reviewing and adding input on all marketing material produced by creative teams before submitting to client for approval
  • Traffic management of internal and external creative resources on briefed projects
  • Monitor project results and adjust project deliverables or timelines to achieve overall project success
  • Escalate challenges during workflow process to ensure that they are flagged and adequately planned for
  • Compile reports for stakeholders/clients
  • Ensure project performance reports are delivered timeously

FINANCIAL

  • Draw up cost estimates in consultation with department heads
  • Monitor project spend according to client's budget
  • Monitor creative resource allocation according to client's budget
