Key performance areas:

  • To establish the Human Capital division as a proactive, valueadding source of expertise, assistance and consulting advice;
  • To strategically direct and supervise the attraction, retention, reward and performance management of CIPC's human capital;
  • To strategically direct and supervise the establishment of an effective learning culture and knowledge management in CIPC;
  • To strategically direct and supervise the establishment and maintenance of healthy employee relations and employee engagement in the CIPC;
  • To provide advice the Commissioner and the executive on strategic human capital management, development and engagement matters and to represent the CIPC in relevant forums;
  • To direct and manage strategic and business planning and budgeting for the division and monitor and report on the implementation of the business plan, budget and related projects;
  • To ensure adherence to human resource, financial and administrative strategies, policies and procedures in the division;
  • To ensure the proper administration, governance and risk management of the division.
