JOB SPECIFICATION
Claim Administrator
Responsibility:
Assess claims according to the rules, benefits, and conditions of the policy and within the SLA
Contact service providers for discounts when claims are over the company prescribed threshold
Ensure that all policy limitations, waiting periods, and exclusions are appropriate and in line with the policy
Attend to customer queries
Any other duties as assigned by your manager from time to time
Skills:
At least 2 years' funeral policies claims experience
Technical knowledge of various funeral insurance policies products
Excellent English communication and writing skills
Excellent data entry skills
Always demonstrate an elevated level of customer service
Adaptable:
resilient person and shows a positive response to change
Attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to manage the pressure of difficult clients - always remain calm, friendly, courteous, polite, professional, and willing to assist
Takes ownership and responsibility of daily interaction with all clients
Ability to work within an established team
Excellent analytical skills
Effectively and professionally manage queries and day-to-day functions within SLA
Incorporating the principles of Treating Customers Fairly (TCF)
Computer literate - Intermediate MS Office necessary
Knowledge of working with excel
Desired Work Experience:
2 years of Claims Experience

Diploma
FAIS Compliant
RE 5 Certificate
