Business Development Engineer

Hire Resolve’s client in the electrical engineering industry is urgently seeking the expertise of a Schemes Tendering and Business Development Engineer in Johannesburg.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for assembling complete technical and commercial tenders.
- Prepare tender documents including cost summary sheets, risk assessments, and approval documentation.
- Ensure tenders are processed and managed in a customer-focused manner to satisfy client needs.
- Attend tender briefings, customer site visits, and final tender submissions.
- Develop relationships with new and existing customers, consultants, and within customer organisations.
- Network with clients when required and take part in the development of business growth strategy.
Requirements
- T/S4 in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
- Fully conversant with NEC and FIDIC Contracts.
- Minimum 5 years of tendering experience in Protection relays, Schemes & Substation Automation.
- Strong sales and marketing experience within the related field.
- Computer literacy in MS Office, Syspro, and Outlook.
- Strong written & verbal communication, analytical skills, and self-motivation.
