Business Development Manager

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic plans to acquire new business opportunities in the solar energy sector.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients, stakeholders, and partners.
- Conduct market research to identify solar energy projects and partnership opportunities.
- Prepare and present business proposals and presentations to a range of stakeholders.
- Negotiate contracts, close agreements, and follow through to ensure successful implementation.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create targeted campaigns and outreach strategies.
- Attend industry conferences and events to network with potential clients and professionals.
- Keep abreast of latest industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitive landscape.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven track record of at least 3-5 years in business development, preferably in the solar or renewable energy industry.
- Strong understanding of solar energy markets, financial modeling, and project financing.
- Exceptional interpersonal, negotiation, and persuasive skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as part of a team.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
