Hire Resolve, a leading recruitment agency, is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Customs Affairs Manager to join our client's team. As the Customs Affairs Manager, you will be responsible for managing all customs-related activities and ensuring compliance with customs regulations and requirements. You will work closely with customs officials and internal stakeholders to facilitate the smooth flow of goods across international borders.


Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement customs compliance programs, policies, and procedures.
  • Ensure adherence to customs regulations and requirements.
  • Manage import and export documentation and processes.
  • Facilitate customs clearance for imported and exported goods.
  • Maintain strong relationships with customs officials and authorities.
  • Provide guidance and support to internal departments regarding customs matters.
  • Stay updated on changes in customs regulations and communicate relevant updates to the organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in customs affairs or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of customs regulations and requirements.
  • Experience in managing import and export processes and documentation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in customs management software and tools.
  • Certifications in customs or trade compliance are preferred.
  • Flexibility to travel as required.
