Job Description:

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented, responsible, and motivated individual to join our tax team as a Tax Compliance Coordinator. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, along with a keen interest in corporate taxes and tax service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Tax Committee, including scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, and documenting minutes.
  • Oversee the administrative processes for tax compliance and stakeholder engagement, ensuring alignment with governance and regulatory standards.
  • Assist in managing financial and procurement administrative tasks to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Facilitate clear and effective communication among committee members and external stakeholders.
  • Organize and safeguard confidential documents in accordance with privacy protection regulations (e.g., POPIA and GDPR).
  • Support project management activities by defining, scoping, planning, and executing tasks based on established methodologies.
  • Analyze complex situations and develop effective solutions that benefit all stakeholders.
  • Implement efficient operational methods to enhance team productivity and service delivery.

Requirements:

  • South African Male of African Ethnicity.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience as a personal assistant, with at least 3 years in a compliance or committee support role.
  • Strong understanding of financial practices and tax compliance.
  • Familiarity with HR policies and data security regulations.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and data management tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality service delivery.
  • Ability to mediate conflicts and simplify complex information for diverse audiences.
