Industrial Relations Officer

As IR Officer for this fast-growing corporate Head Office, you will be responsible for:
Manage and resolve disciplinary matters, including investigations, hearings, and disciplinary actions
Representation in CCMA proceedings, including conciliations, and arbitrations
Facilitate employee relation inquiries including chairing disciplinary hearings, grievances, incapacity hearings and drafting charges, warnings, and outcomes
Ensure compliance with labour laws and regulations, and ensuring employment equity compliance
Develop and maintain policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure compliance
Addressing employee related matters and contribute to a positive workplace culture
What is required:
Admitted attorney is a strong advantage
Relevant qualification in Industrial Relations or LLB
Minimum 3 years experience in an IR role or similar position, with hands-on CCMA experience
Employment Equity experience is a plus
Strong knowledge of South African Labour Law, including the Labour Relations Act, Basic Conditions of Employment Act, and other relevant legislation
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, MS Teams)
