Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
  • Minimum of 5 years in a managerial role with proven experience in wholesale or distribution management
  • In-depth knowledge of wholesale industry practices, trends, and regulations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and ERP software
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve business objectives

Responsibilities

  • Develop & implement strategic plans to optimise & improve supply chain & distribution within a wholesale environment
  • Develop a distribution model to improve & enhance efficiency levels, continuous improvement & minimize costs
  • Optimize, synergize & re-engineer processes & methodologies
  • Oversee all aspects of wholesale operations including sales, procurement, warehouse management & customer services
  • Manage & motivate team of Sales Representatives, Warehouse & Admin staff
  • Manage a team of +/- 160 direct & indirect reports
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with Customers, Suppliers, and other Stakeholders
  • Monitor market trends and Competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and improvement
  • Ensure market share growth & successful implementation of competitive strategies
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry regulations
  • Analyze financial reports and performance metrics to assess branch performance and identify areas for improvement (financial KPI's cost-saving initiatives)
