The Role

Reporting to Principal Consultant - SSA, the Cloud Solutions Consultant plays a critical role scoping and delivering cloud consulting engagements with our clients. You will work collaboratively with our experienced Google Cloud, Google Marketing Platform and other media experts to deliver sustainable solutions for our customers. From time to time, you will engage with our partners to unlock cloud delivery opportunities by showcasing our expertise.

Area Of Expertise

Acceleration is part of WPP, the world's largest advertising and marketing services group. Clients come to us to solve today's biggest challenges, surrounding the use of data and technology, to support delivery of improved digital marketing experiences for their customers, across paid, owned and earned environments. Typically, their biggest area of investment is media, and using data and technology, to un-lock value in this area is critical. You will display a distinctive level of subject matter expertise on how to architect and deliver advertising / marketing technology and data strategies that accelerate client value, by increasing customer engagement and personalization in this area. Google is a key partner of ours, and a primary route to market – knowledge of the Google Marketing Platform as well as how Google Cloud Platform can improve marketing efforts is a strong bonus.

Ideal Candidate:

This is an excellent opportunity for a Cloud Solutions Consultant to join the SSA consulting team. You will work with customers to unlock the value of Google's Cloud Platform to enhance the measurement and activation media. You will work closely with Data Analysts, Google Cloud and Google Marketing Platform experts to deliver ambitious project for our customers. As part of the role, you will work with Cloud Engineers and be the core escalation point on projects, you will also have a key role in developing deep relationships with our core partners and showcase our technical capabilities.

Responsibilities:
  • Liaise with customers to propose modern production solutions from customer requirements.
  • Liaise with partners to demonstrate Google Cloud technical capabilities.
  • Execute implementations to tight deadlines, working well both independently and as part of a team.
  • Communicate technical concepts to non-technical staff and the business.
  • Taking ownership of projects, gaining a personal satisfaction in achieving high performing environments
  • Design and build applications and solutions using the Google Cloud Platform.
  • Manage and provision the Google Cloud solution infrastructure.
  • Design for data security and compliance.
  • Design and implement Big Data and Data Warehousing solutions with their corresponding Data Governance processes.
  • Able to manage Cloud databases.
  • Present core architectural concepts to team and client technical teams.
  • Produce presentations to clearly articulate the proposed solution and how they will work together.
  • Work with broader consulting teams to produce content on how Cloud solutions can deliver on customer objectives.
  • Provide domain expertise around public Cloud and Enterprise technology.
  • Educate internal teams on existing/new features and capabilities on Google Cloud Platform to support fulfillment; train employees and offer platform expertise; define roadmap for long-term Customer Google Cloud Platform needs.
Key Requirements:
  • 5+ years hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
  • Demonstrable deep knowledge and experience in Cloud migration, Cloud strategy and transformation, Cloud architecture and engineering.
  • Broad knowledge of the major Cloud vendors, with deep knowledge in GCP.
  • Team lead, management experience
  • A set of certifications in (GCP): Cloud Architect, Data Engineer or Cloud Engineer
  • A set of certifications in (GMP): Google Analytics 4 (mandatory), Google Ads, DV360
  • Experience and strong understanding of digital media and platforms, i.e. ad servers, Meta, Google Ads, Campaign Manager, DV360, etc.
  • Experience with Server-Side Tagging technology.
  • Experience with Server-Side Google Tag Manager (GTM) on GCP.
  • Understanding of the impact cookieless tracking such as Apple's ITP.
  • Experience in leveraging Google Analytics data within GCP (Big Query).
  • Knowledge of conversion APIs for various media platforms (Google, Meta, TikTok).
  • Understanding of privacy and consent architecture on web and app environments.
  • Technical depth and experience with SQL.
  • Strong problem solving or analytics experience.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • A strong client centric mindset, responsive, reliable with ability to manage expectations of internal clients.
  • Actively contributes to the growth of the Acceleration business.
  • An excellent work ethic, problem solving and proficient time management skills.
  • Able to work to deadlines in a fast-paced agency environment.
  • Initiative is key, this role will need a “let me figure this out” attitude rather than “tell me what to do attitude”.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Google Marketing Platform Certifications (DV360, CM360, Google Ads ….)
  • Degree in Computer Science or similar field
