Job Title: Advisory Consultant- Cloud

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Advisory Consultant- Cloud to join our team at Dimension Data. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing business process-related solutions for clients, defining client needs, and determining strategies for project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and address client organizational business problems and needs by providing recommendations.
  • Identify and analyze client problems, providing NTT Ltd with opportunities for market share.
  • Outline end-to-end solution sets to enable client business transformation, minimizing erroneous decisions that impact project costs and customer commitments.
  • Estimate scope of consultant and/or architect effort and accurately estimate complex project time required for completion.
  • Continuously search for opportunities to innovate solutions for clients, improving their business and ensuring business development for NTT Ltd.
  • Support client-facing workshops by collecting, reviewing, and analyzing IT and business issues.
  • Review and update methodology required to address IT and business issues in a professional, knowledge-sharing manner.
  • Review and update strategic documentation, including detailed business plans, relating to business transformation initiatives.
  • Undertake regular reviews to ensure outcomes are aligned to agreed deliverables.

Requirements:

  • Comprehensive domain/industry expertise coupled with consulting and client engagement experience, demonstrating good experience in client needs assessment and change management.
  • Knowledge and understanding of IT industry environment and business needs.
  • Excellent understanding of business transformation coupled with strategic thinking ability.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Interpersonal skills with the ability to develop and maintain strong stakeholder relationships.
  • Ability to work with a variety of internal and external stakeholders to ensure delivery of business transformation.
  • Extensive knowledge of systems, software, and programming languages.
  • Ability to focus on detail with an understanding of how it impacts the business strategically.
  • Excellent client service orientation.
  • Ability to work in high-pressure situations.
  • Ability to establish and manage processes and practices through collaboration and understanding of business.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in relevant field.
  • Certified Management Consultant (CMC).
  • Relevant industry-specific accreditations and/or affiliations.

Required Experience:

  • Extensive experience in a consulting or IT role within a large-scale (preferably multi-national) technology services environment.
  • Comprehensive experience in integrating solutions for particular projects with the business domain, enterprise concerns, industry standards, established patterns, and best practices.
  • Transformational consulting experience, including running discovery workshops and presenting findings back to clients.
  • Some business development and pre-sales experience.
  • Management consulting and business transformation track record.
