We are seeking a dedicated Motor Vehicle Licensing & Registration Clerk with specialized knowledge in vehicle registrations. This is an exceptional opportunity for an individual known for their unwavering attention to detail, resilience, and capability to excel under pressure. The role is based in Roodepoort, Johannesburg.

Your Tasks:

Reporting directly to the company's Sales Manager, you will join our team responsible for vehicle licensing and registration. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Liaison: Efficiently communicate with the dealership regarding vehicle license and registration procedures.
  • Documentation Management: Ensure that all registration and licensing documents, along with invoices, are promptly submitted to the bank/licensing department.
  • Number Plates: Ensure that number plates adhere to dealership requirements.
  • Forms Management: Acquire all pertinent forms in advance from the traffic or licensing department.
  • Creditors Management: Manage creditors associated with licensing and registration.
  • Office Administration: Perform fundamental office administration tasks.
  • Travel: You will be required to travel within the province to the various licencing offices to facilitate licencing for the dealership.

Requirements

  • Experience: A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in licensing and registration of vehicles.
  • Education: Matric is required.
  • Pressure Handling: Demonstrated ability to perform effectively under high-pressure scenarios.
  • Administration Skills: Proficiency in office administration with a strong commitment to detail.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for effective interaction.
  • Driver's License: A valid driver's license is mandatory.
