Purpose Of The Job:

Select Motor Recruitment is seeking an experienced Commercial Vehicle Foreman to lead our busy team. As a Commercial Vehicle Foreman, you will provide guidance and direction to all staff members, prioritize work orders, and maintain vehicle records.

Duties:

  • Maintain vehicle records and repair data
  • Assist with the development of the department's annual budget
  • Responsible for inventory records of supplies and parts
  • Responsible for the professional development of all shop staff members
  • Practice safe work habits and use personal protective equipment as required
  • Routinely inspect all shop equipment and work area to maintain a safe environment for our employees
  • Review and approve completed work orders
  • Assist in recruiting, screening, training, and evaluation of shop employees

Requirements:

  • Matric
  • Qualified Diesel technician
  • At least 3 years' experience in a similar role as Foreman, Senior Technician in a commercial vehicle environment
  • Exceptionally good technical knowledge of commercial vehicles and management experience
  • Fully computer literate
