A Leading Pharmaceutical Company has a vacancy for a Brand Manager role within Oncology.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategies, tactical plans and marketing communications in accordance with Business strategies in commercial, channel, and portfolio areas.
  • Lead, prepare and implement innovative and measurable marketing campaigns and initiatives in line with marketing plans, and track performance and recommend necessary changes to optimize performance of the marketing function.
  • Communicate, collaborate, coordinate and seek approval on marketing activities with top management.
  • Oversee new product introduction and provide comprehensive launch plans and execute same within budget.
  • Cost-effective management, tracking and control of the marketing budget.
  • Oversee the development and provision of all marketing material.
  • Effective use of quantitative and qualitative market data and business intelligence to develop marketing plans, campaigns and tactical plans and initiatives.
  • Assist with portfolio gap analysis, forecasting and business development.
  • Ensure compliance with the relevant legislation and codes of conduct.
  • Ensure a high level of professionalism and service with external and internal customers, enhancing the company image at all times through consistent communication of the company’s image and position.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with KOLs where appropriate.
  • Proactive support of the sales team including articulation of campaign and tactical plans, effective use of marketing material and field travel.
  • Manage consultants, marketing and promotion agencies.
  • Provide top management with relevant input in business reviews and annual planning sessions.

Requirements:

  • Professional degree in Marketing.
  • 5 plus years of experience in marketing preferably within the generic pharmaceutical industry.
  • Experience within Oncology. 
  • Knowledge of applicable marketing codes & compliance.
  • Strong leadership, analytical and communication skills.
