National Key Account Manager

- Develop, implement and evaluate national pharmacy key accounts strategies detailing all operational and key account objectives
- Conduct analysis, research, and negotiations for annual co-op spending, focusing on ROI
- Negotiate annual trading terms in line with business plan
- Collaborate with regional and national buyers on key accounts to negotiate product ranges, new listings, pricing, and promotional activities
- Build and maintain strong and effective relationships with all key people at key accounts.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of all promotional activities
- Ensure successful and accurate launch of new products, aligning with marketing strategies and requirements
- Oversee pricing accuracy and execute price adjustments within designated timelines to avoid claims
- Maintain optimal product and service levels through Selling Agents
- Ongoing sales and performance management of all sales staff and agents
- Provide direction on promotional plans, pricing and product launches in line with Sales & Marketing Strategy
- Analyseand communicate all market and competitor information to Marketing, as well as highlighting opportunities
- Management and implementation of planograms and layouts as set out by Trade Marketing
- Grade 12 qualification.
- Relevant tertiary degree in Marketing or Sales; a background or qualification in Health Sciences is an advantage.
- Minimum7 years of key account management experience within the pharmacy sector, working with pharmacies and health-focused retail stores.
- Minimum 5 years of experience collaborating closely with independent pharmacy representatives and stores.
- Proven record of successful growth in key accounts for pharmacies and health stores.
