The Opportunity

Nutanix is looking for a Territory Account Manager for Western Cape, Coastal and Neighboring SADC countries . As a Territory Account Manager, you are responsible for selling Nutanix’s Products and Solutions through Channel Partners and interacting directly with customers in the Western Cape.
You'll be at the forefront of our coastal business operations in the Western Cape. Your mission? To harness your strategic thinking, tech-savvy nature, and unyielding determination to accelerate sales, create remarkable client experiences, and solidify Nutanix's position as a tech powerhouse. You will also be working closely with a Sales Engineer in your territory.

Our sales team at Nutanix has a keen ability to develop new accounts and penetrate new divisions and organizations within your assigned accounts. Nutanix provides unrivaled support and tools from the Engineering, Marketing, and Product Development departments for you to leverage to exceed sales performance goals. In this position, you would be working very closely with the co-founders and VPs and have a large amount of influence on sales team decisions and initiatives.

Your Role

As an Territory Account Manager, you will be a key player within the Nutanix field sales team to drive net new business sales and manage strategic accounts. You will play a pivotal role in our growth strategy for the Western Cape market. The region is expected to deliver remarkable growth, and we believe a dedicated representative will allow us to capitalize on the emerging opportunities. You will have the unique chance to engage with a diverse range of industries, understand their distinct needs, and provide tailored solutions that drive customer satisfaction and revenue growth. Use relationship management techniques to develop selling opportunities within partner organizations penetrate new divisions and organizations within assigned partner accounts and build and strengthen the business relationship with current accounts and new prospects. Schedule and attend sales call appointments with a prospect in a partner organization. Nutanix Channel Partner Representatives may also participate in the sales call to help qualify the opportunity. Develop an account plan to sell to customers based on their business needs. Recommend marketing strategies. Provide status information to your Manager including forecast/pipeline information. Foster strong customer relationships through personalized attention and timely responses. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless customer experiences. What You Will Bring

Strong verbal and written communication skills including presentation skills. Your ability to explain complex tech solutions in an engaging and accessible manner is second to none Ability to work collaboratively with employees within the sales function and across functions including Marketing, Sales Operations, System Engineering, and Product Development. An aptitude for understanding how technology products and solutions solve business problems as well as the competitive landscape to solve Customer business challenges.  Experience in Territory sales with target account selling, solution selling, and/or consultative sales techniques. You've made your mark in B2B technology sales, with a track record of driving growth and building strong client relationships. Obstacles are simply stepping stones for you, and you thrive in fast-paced, competitive environments.
