Working hours: 08:30am – 4:30pm (Mon-Fri)

 

Our client an independent brokerage working with top life insurance and investment companies like Old Mutual, Ninety One, Sanlam, and many more. We're seeking a detail-oriented Insurance Administrator to handle policy management, client support, and office administrative tasks.

Duties will include, but is not limited to:

  • Process insurance policy applications, renewals, amendments, and cancellations.
  • Maintain accurate client and policy records in the system.
  • Liaise with insurance providers to obtain quotes, update policies, and address queries.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing policy-related inquiries.
  • Prepare and send policy documentation and statements to clients.
  • Coordinate with brokers to ensure timely and accurate service delivery.
  • Assist with claims processing, including documentation submission and client updates.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal policies.
  • Provide general administrative support, including filing, reporting, and data entry.
  • Identifying ways to streamline processes and enhance client satisfaction.

 

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years in insurance administration, policy servicing, or client support roles within the insurance or finance sector.
  • Matric + additional certifications in insurance or customer service are an advantage.

 

Skills:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask, meet deadlines and prioritize workflow.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for client and team interactions.
  • Strong emotional intelligence with a proactive mindset and critical thinking abilities.
  • Reliable, honest, and a strong work ethic.
