Abou the Company

The company produces veterinary vaccines for livestock protection against bacterial and viral diseases and is a State-Owned Company. The Company is governed by a Board of Directors and an Executive Management Team

Duration: 6 Months

  • The resource will be based at the offices of the client, Pretoria North.
  • office hours (07:30-16:00) Mondays to Fridays or as otherwise directed by the Chief Financial Officer
  • Willing to work outside normal office hours as the entity is now approaching year-end and the audit period, which may require occasional remote work after hours or remote work on the weekend

Required Qualification

  • Higher Certificate in Procurement, Logistics, or SCM. (NQF 5) OR A Higher Certificate in Supply Chain within the Public Sector will be advantageous. (NQF 5)

Required Experience

  • At least 3 years’ experience in a Purchasing role.
  • Working knowledge of PFMA, and National Treasury Regulations.
  • Working knowledge of the BBBEE Act and Government procurement principles
