Our client is a reputable organization dedicated to skills development and educational initiatives. They are seeking a dynamic Learnership Administrator to join their team in the Johannesburg branch. This role is crucial in supporting the administration and coordination of learnership programs.

The Purpose
  • To work closely with the Project Coordinators to ensure a fully integrated approach to supporting the administrative function of the department.
  • To provide support to all relevant administration of the department as required by the Skills Manager.
  • Responsible for the Education and Training Quality Assurance and administrative performance of the department; including administrative support to the Skills Manager, facilitators, assessors, and moderators
  • Implement all processes relating to the department in accordance with QMS with regards to all learning programme offered by the department
Administration
  • Support the coordinators to conduct learner Induction and orientation processes.
  • Administering fixed term contracts and workplace-based agreements within the prescribe time frames.
  • Conducting on-boarding, during learner induction and orientation
  • Managing the LMIS System for learners and all the relevant stakeholders
  • Capture data from available records into required databases/spreadsheets
  • Verify and query missing data and errors to ensure all data is entered accurately and in a timely manner
  • ETQA Control for learner registration and SETA submission
  • Administer and tracking learner attendance and payroll records
  • Maintain accurate and up to date records
  • Liaise with and follow up with employees within the organization to collect information Administer class registers, learner drop outs and Learner Exits
  • Manage/Conduct/Process learner grievances and discipline
  • Maintain accurate and updated termination records
  • Coordinate project files and maintain compliant documents
  • Support co-ordinators with information required for compliance, reporting to clients and the
  • relevant SETA
  • Collaboration with academic team to ensure alignment with schedules
  • Participate in ensuring internal and external site audit readiness and compliance
  • Participate in Internal & External Verification process with SETA’s
Minimum Requirements
  • Matric (Grade 12) or equivalent
  • Certificate in Training and Development will be advantageous
  • Certificate in Office Administration/ Support will be advantageous
  • Knowledge and understanding on the SETA, assessment/ moderation processes.
  • End User /Computer certificate will be an added advantage
  • 3+ years Proven experience in administration role
  • Experience in Training and Skills Development environment with understanding of assessment and moderation processes
  • Familiarity with Assessment and Moderation Reports
  • Excellent knowledge in (MS Office, Google Mail, LMS, Google Online sheets)
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Excellent organizational, multitasking and leadership ability
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Punctuality
  • Ability to work in high paced environment
