JOB PROFILE SUMMARY:

As an Accounting Clerk, you will play a critical role in maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and supporting the financial operations of the company. You will work closely with the accounting team to ensure efficient and effective management of financial activities.


KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Process accounts payable and receivable transactions accurately and promptly.
  • Maintain and update financial records, including ledgers, invoices, and receipts.
  • Reconcile bank statements and ensure discrepancies are resolved.
  • Assist with the preparation of financial reports and statements.
  • Perform data entry and maintain organized records of financial transactions.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Assist in payroll processing and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Respond to inquiries from vendors, clients, and internal staff regarding financial transactions.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting principles.
  • Assist in corporate secretarial related work.
  • Provide administrative support to the finance department as needed.
  • Assist in others general administrative work.

QUALIFICATION, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
  • Diploma or equivalent; associate degree in accounting or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience as an Accounting Clerk or in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel; familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Strong numerical aptitude and data entry skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices.
