Key Accounts Manager

The Key Account Manager will be responsible for managing relationships with our most critical clients, ensuring their continued satisfaction and engagement. This role is pivotal in strengthening our client partnerships through exceptional service and by understanding and responding to client needs with precision and creativity. Extensive travel throughout South Africa.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain robust relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and business drivers.
- Develop strategic account plans aimed at achieving client satisfaction and revenue growth.
- Negotiate contracts and manage service agreements to ensure mutual benefits.
- Lead problem resolution and manage client expectations effectively.
- Coordinate with internal teams to deliver comprehensive solutions that align with client needs.
- An understanding of financial markets, investment strategies, and risk management.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or related field; an MBA is advantageous.
- Minimum 5+ years in a key account management or similar role within the banking or financial services industry.
- Strong understanding of financial products, banking regulations, and market dynamics.
- Excellent negotiation, strategic planning, and presentation skills.
- High proficiency in CRM and data analytics tools.
- Ability to travel regularly to client sites across Gauteng, Cape Town, and KwaZulu Natal.
- Own transportation is a must.
