As a Managed Services Engineer, you'll be responsible for providing technical support to customers. You will maintain and troubleshoot networks that are hosted on the company's equipment. In this role, you will assist our clients with issues such as trouble-shooting connectivity or configuring network settings.

Requirements

  • Ability to work well in a pressurised environment.
  • Ability to place clients at the forefront of all interactions, understanding their requirements and creating a positive client expereince throughout the total client joruney.
  • Ability to plan plan activities and projects well in advance, and takes into account possible changing circumstances.
  • Executes assigned job functions within established policies and procedures.
  • Provides technical support to customers and operators
  • Provides support for troubleshooting network issues.
  • Understands, maintains, and troubleshoots the networks.

Qualifications

  • Diploma/degree in Computer Science or related field required (or demonstrated equivalent work experience).
  • CCNA (essential)
  • CCNP (advantageous)
  • NSE (advantageous)
  • Entry level experience with troubleshooting and providing suport required in network/data centre/systems/storage administration.
  • Working knowledge of products within the supported technical domain (i.e. Network, Data Centre, Telephony, Exchange, Storage, Cloud, Backup etc.)
  • Working knowledge of WAN connectivity.
