Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a General Manager located in Somerset West. The General Manager will oversee daily operations, manage logistics activities, coordinate the movement and storage of goods, and ensure efficiency in logistics processes. Responsibilities include strategic planning, implementation of logistical solutions, as well as monitoring and reporting on the performance of logistics operations. The General Manager will also be responsible for team leadership and developing policies to enhance operations.

  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Experience in strategic planning and implementation
  • Expertise in logistics operations, including movement and storage of goods
  • Ability to monitor and report on performance metrics
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Proven track record of enhancing operational efficiency
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Business Administration, or related field
  • Previous experience in a similar General Manager role is a plus
  • Familiarity with logistics software and technology is beneficial
