The Recipe for Success:

The Senior Digital Marketing Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing the digital marketing strategies of the company. The main purpose of this role is to drive brand awareness, generate leads, and increase customer engagement and conversion through various online marketing channels.

The Senior Digital Marketing Manager will need to be highly proficient in various digital marketing channels such as social media marketing, email marketing, display advertising and search engine marketing. You will be expected to continuously monitor, measure, and analyse the performance of these campaigns using tools like Google Analytics, and make data-driven recommendations for improvements.

Staying updated with industry trends and best practices will be vital, as you will need to proactively recommend new digital marketing strategies or emerging technologies to stay ahead of the competition.

As the Senior Digital Marketing Manager, you will have a budget to manage, and it will be your responsibility to allocate it effectively to maximize return on investment.

The role is based at our Cape Town Head Office in Somerset West.

What's on your Daily Menu?

Digital, strategy and performance:

  • Develop commercially-driven digital marketing strategies in collaboration with the Marketing Director and Commercial Marketing Manager to support company sales objectives.
  • Lead the execution of omni-channel marketing campaigns, ensuring seamless campaign integration and messaging across platforms.
  • Manage and optimise relationship with digital performance agency, including briefing, pushing for innovation, and reporting on campaign results to the business.
  • Oversee user journey mapping and tool integration of the website, while also managing workflow alignment between the e-commerce and digital marketing teams to enhance the online customer experience.
  • Drive SEO and SEM initiatives to maximize organic visibility and deliver effective performance marketing outcomes.
  • Monitor, measure, and analyse campaign performance, providing actionable insights and bi-monthly reports to inform continuous improvement.
  • Manage digital marketing budgets to ensure cost efficiency and maximum ROI.

Content and communications:

  • Source, brief and collaborate with influencers and content creators to produce trend-forward, campaign-aligned, and results-driven content.
  • Safeguard and manage the company's online reputation and brand integrity.
  • Foster strong communication between digital teams and Signature Boutique stores to ensure continuous alignment.
  • Coordinate workflow for ZA briefs with Le Creuset Content Studio.
  • Oversee content production and logistics, this includes photo and video shoots – both in studio or on location.
  • Stay ahead of social media trends to maintain relevance and engagement.

Team management:

  • Utilise Asana for effective task and project management within the team.
  • Provide leadership and general people management in consultation with the Marketing Director.

The Perfect Blend: Your ingredients for Success

  • Formal qualification in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Digital Marketing Manager or in a similar role.
  • A demonstrated knowledge of the branded consumer goods marketplace and experience with content production supporting premium lifestyle brands.
  • In-depth knowledge of various digital marketing channels such as SEO, SEM, social media, email marketing, and performance marketing.
  • Familiarity with marketing automation tools and web analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Marketing Suite, Meta Ads, Dot Digital).
  • Strong analytical skills to track and measure the effectiveness of digital campaigns.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Up to date with the latest digital marketing trends and best practices.
