Job Description:
  • Create, manage, and maintain accurate 3D structural BIM models and 2D drawings
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure design coordination and integration across all disciplines
  • Contribute to BIM content management, including templates, Revit families, and project libraries
  • Participate in model coordination sessions and assist in resolving technical design challenges
  • Support construction teams by preparing shop drawings, as-builts, and documentation updates
  • Stay up to date with BIM tools, standards, and workflows, driving innovation and efficiency across project
Skills & Experience:
  • Minimum 3–5 years' experience working as a BIM / Revit Technician in structural or multidisciplinary projects.
  • Strong working knowledge of Revit Structure for modeling and documentation across all design stages.
  • Experience producing detailed plans, sections, and fabrication drawings for structural projects.
  • Solid understanding of structural systems, materials, and construction methods.
  • High attention to detail, accuracy, and file management discipline.
  • Strong problem-solving and coordination skills, with the ability to identify and resolve design conflicts.
  • Effective communicator with a collaborative mindset, capable of supporting and mentoring junior technicians.
Qualification:
  • National Diploma or higher in Structural, Civil, or Architectural Technology (or related field).
  • Continued professional development or certification in BIM workflows or Revit software advantageous.
Only South African Residents or individuals with a relevant South African work permit will be considered.
