SUMMARY:
We are seeking a Structural BIM Technician that will play a key role in producing accurate, coordinated, and high-quality structural models and drawings. You'll work closely with engineers, support project delivery from concept to construction, and help maintain top-tier BIM standards.

POSITION INFO:
Job Description:

  • Build and manage detailed 3D structural models in Revit
  • Produce clear, precise plans, sections, details, and IFC-ready drawings
  • Maintain Revit families, templates, and project content
  • Translate engineering markups into coordinated digital models
  • Support clash detection and multidisciplinary coordination sessions
  • Ensure all models and drawings meet BIM standards and QA requirements
  • Assist with shop drawings, construction queries, and as-built updates

Skills & Experience:

  • Strong Revit Structure skills and solid BIM experience
  • Minimum 3 – 5 years of experience
  • Knowledge of structural systems, materials, and construction methods
  • Experience with Navisworks and coordination workflows
  • Ability to create accurate, well-structured drawings
  • Familiarity with BEPs and CDE platforms (e.g., BIM 360 / ACC)
  • Sharp attention to detail and proactive problem-solving
  • Good communication and teamwork skills

Qualification:
National Diploma or higher in Structural, Civil Engineering

Only South African Residents or individuals with a relevant South African work permit will be considered
