  • Team leadership: Manage, motivate, and mentor a team of technicians or mechanics, assigning work orders, conducting performance reviews, and identifying training needs.
  • Quality control: Implement and enforce quality control measures, perform regular inspections, and ensure all work is completed to the highest standards.
  • Customer service: Serve as a primary point of contact for clients to provide project updates, manage expectations, and address any complaints to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Inventory management: Oversee inventory levels for tools, parts, and supplies, and coordinate with vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials.
  • Health and safety: Implement and enforce safety protocols and regulations, ensuring a clean and safe working environment.
  • Process improvement: Identify and implement improvements to workshop processes to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Record keeping: Maintain accurate service records, work histories, and administrative documentation.
  • Equipment maintenance: Oversee the maintenance and repair of all workshop machinery and equipment.
