**Job Description**:
We are looking for a Workshop Manager to be based in Kempton Park for our client within the Commercial industry

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Lead and motivate a team of technicians and support staff.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Develop and implement efficient workflow processes.
- Ensure timely completion of projects and assignments.
- Monitor and optimize resource allocation.
- Implement and enforce quality control measures.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure work meets the highest standards.
- Address and resolve any quality issues promptly.
- Serve as a point of contact for clients regarding project updates and specifications.
- Manage client expectations and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Oversee inventory levels and order supplies as needed.
- Work closely with the finance department to manage the workshop budget.
- Identify cost-saving measures without compromising quality.
- Enforce safety protocols and standards within the workshop.
- Conduct regular safety training sessions for workshop staff.
- Address and resolve any operational or personnel issues.
- Implement preventive measures to avoid recurring problems.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in workshop or operations management.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Familiarity with workshop equipment and processes.
- Understanding of quality control and safety standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate with clients and team members.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on efficiency.
- Proven ability to analyze and solve operational challenges.
- Strategic thinker with a proactive approach.
- Proficient in MS Office and other relevant software.

**Qualifications**
- Matric and Tertiary Qualification
- Trade Certificate
- More than 5 years’ experience as a Workshop Manager working in Commercial Industries (Trucks/Heavy vehicles) while managing Warranty, Service Advisors and Technicians
