Introduction:
Our growing company is looking for a Workshop Manager to be responsible for managing the workshop and daily planning of workshop duties.

Job Purpose

Duties & Responsibilities:

- Daily Planning of production and installations
- Responsible for producing signs to the provided designs, efficiently, and making suggestions on any amendments as necessary.
- Operation of pc, cutters, and printers to create signage and vinyl.
- Work accurately, minimising waste and damage to materials and equipment.
- Maintain all equipment in the workshop. Ensure nothing is lost.
- Ensure a safe work environment and that all products leaving the workshop are of a high quality and they conform to all required standards.
- The ability to work on own initiative and as part of an award-winning manufacturing team. Create samples or mock-ups as required to be provided to design team and/or clients.
- Work on other tasks as required when directed by management team.
- Ensure a clean and tidy workshop at all times.
- Required at times to work at height and handle heavy and bulky items.
- As required attend customer sites for vinyl/signage installations.
- Going to customer sites to take measurements and planning installations.
- Responsible for producing signs to the provided designs, efficiently, and making suggestions on any amendments as necessary.
- Ensuring all steps are taken to ensure clean wrapping jobs.
- Ensuring all vehicle wraps are done to the best quality.
- Assisting in pricing to the sales teams and communicating with clients
- Ensuring staff is wearing PPE all times
- Handling customer complaints and coming up with solutions
- Travelling to different provinces doing installations

Desired Experience & Qualification:

- Knowledge and Experience in signage and vehicle wrapping
- A commitment to excellent customer service
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Superb interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly build rapport with both customers and suppliers
- Experience using computers for a variety of tasks
- Able to work comfortably under pressure
- A People's person - able to work with people from all walks of life.
- Knowledge of design programs like Corel draw, photoshop added advantage

**Salary**: From R15,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Kempton Park, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
