Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Unified Communications & Collaboration (UCC) Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and support of enterprise-level communication and collaboration solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for deploying and maintaining Microsoft Teams Rooms (MTR) and AV/VC systems, ensuring seamless collaboration and system security across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Delivery & Support

  • Lead and participate in requirements gathering for AV/VC and MTR solutions.
  • Plan, deploy, and support Microsoft Teams Rooms and integrated AV systems.
  • Provide 2nd and 3rd line support for incidents related to MTRs, AV panels, and meeting space technologies.
  • Develop and maintain troubleshooting guides, playbooks, and training materials for service desk teams.
  • Automate routine tasks using PowerShell and Power Automate.
  • Collaborate with vendors on hardware replacements, escalations, and SLA compliance.
  • Generate performance and usage reports through hardware and software metric integration.
  • Support rollout and adoption of Microsoft Places and Teams Premium features.
  • Assist with administration of Microsoft Exchange Online, including policies and configurations.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to leverage Microsoft Copilot for reporting and productivity improvements.

Project & Process Management

  • Participate in project planning, risk assessment, and dependency tracking for AV/MTR deployments.
  • Contribute to governance and process improvement for room booking and user experience.
  • Oversee vendor contracts and relationships with AV hardware providers.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience in AV/VC support and collaboration technologies.
  • FinTech experience.
  • Proven experience in large-scale MTR or AV deployment projects.
  • Experience working in a large, multi-tenant organization in a consulting or operations role.

Technical Skills

  • Strong background in Microsoft 365 technologies, AV hardware, and enterprise support models.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Teams Rooms, Exchange Online, and Teams Premium.
  • Proficiency with PowerShell and Power Automate.
  • Familiarity with workspace intelligence tools such as Microsoft Places.
