The Opportunity

This is a senior, full-time position reporting to the Head of Brand and Marketing. You will be expected to collaborate across various teams across all 3 companies in the umbrella. The IT Manager is responsible for overseeing and maintaining all technology systems and infrastructure at Perfect Hideaways. This role ensures the efficient, secure, and reliable operation of IT systems to support business performance, data protection, and service excellence across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

IT Systems Management

• The primary responsibility of managing information technology and computer systems of Perfect Hideaways and all companies within the umbrella.
• Conducting regular system audits, assess the outcomes and present improvements.
• Overseeing and determining timeframes for major IT projects including system updates, upgrades, migrations and outages.
• Plan, organize, control and evaluate IT and electronic data operations.
• Providing direction for internal IT team members and external IT related service providers.
• Act in alignment with user needs and system functionality to contribute to organizational policy.

Security and Compliance

• Ensure security of data, network access and backup systems.
• Identify problematic areas and implement strategic solutions in time.
• Ensure best practice cyber security is implemented and maintained across all platforms.
• Preserve assets, information security and control structures.

Technical Support

• Identifying and acting on opportunities to improve and update software and systems. Working closely with other department managers to assess the growth needs and maintenance of the company's network.
• Managing integration of company wide systems to allow for more automated workflows.

Strategic Planning

• Design, develop, implement and coordinate systems, procedures and IT policies and best practice guides for the organization.
• Managing and reporting on allocation of IT budget.
• Staying up to date with new network technology and reporting this information to the Founders each quarter.

Team Collaboration and Communication

• Running and sharing regular operation system reports with senior staff.
• Identifying opportunities for team training and skills advancement. Designing training programs and workshops for staff.
• Contribute to a culture of proactive problem-solving, responsiveness, and continuous improvement.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
• 5 year or more proven working experience as an IT Manager or relevant experience
• Excellent knowledge of technical management, information analysis and of computer hardware/software systems
• Expertise in data center management, cyber security and data governance
• Hands-on experience with computer networks, network administration and network installation
• Experience working in teams
