Job Description:

As the Sales Manager for our esteemed organization in South Africa, you will play a pivotal role in driving growth and expansion within the dynamic electricity, water, or new energy sectors. Your responsibilities will encompass:

Strategic Sales Leadership:
Develop and orchestrate comprehensive sales strategies that align with company goals, fostering powerful branded marketing communications to ensure consistent achievement of sales targets.

Market Expansion & Customer Acquisition:
Proactively identify and engage new customers, continuously broadening our client base by targeting high-potential segments and meticulously assessing sales opportunities. Conduct thorough market research to explore new product possibilities, assess market demand, and gain deep insights into customer needs.

Product Development Collaboration:
Collaborate closely with product development teams to manage the introduction of innovative products, providing technical expertise and addressing both technical and sales-related queries to enhance product appeal and market fit.

Proposal & Tender Management:
Lead the preparation of highly technical and persuasive proposals and tenders, working alongside dedicated sales professionals to ensure client satisfaction and secure business wins.

Competitive Intelligence & Strategy: Conduct rigorous competitor analysis, staying abreast of market trends and ensuring our marketing strategy remains agile, innovative, and effectively positioned to compete in the dynamic electricity, water, or new energy landscapes.

Qualifications:

Educational Background:
A degree in Business, Marketing, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a closely related field is mandatory.

Communication Proficiency:
Demonstrated excellence in both verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to engage effectively in international settings. Fluency in additional languages is a plus.

Sales Acumen & Drive: A highly motivated individual with a proven track record of exceeding sales targets, fueled by a genuine passion for selling and a relentless drive to succeed.

International Experience:
Willingness and ability to undertake extended business trips overseas, embracing the challenges and opportunities of a global sales role.

Adaptability & Flexibility:
Prepared for frequent cross-national travel, demonstrating strong adaptability and the flexibility required to thrive in a dynamic, international business business wins.
