INTEGRATION SYSTEM ANALYST

Brief description

To interpret the business requirement specification and translate into a detailed integrations specifications to enable the development of innovative, flexible, and efficient integrated solutions solving business problems.

Education/Certification and Experience requirements (mandatory or optional)


• Degree or Diploma in IT

Integration Analysis and Design Certification or Training


• 2-4 Years' experience as Integration Specialist / Analyst


• Experience in reading and editing technical integration artifacts like: XML Schema Definition (XSD) and JSON Schema files


• Experienced in reading and editing WSDL and Swagger files


• Experienced in analyzing interface requirements and designing internally and externally exposed / client facing REST APIs (2+ years) and SOAP services.


• Experienced in working with HTTP REST and SOAP standards


• Experienced in batch file-based integration using SFTP and MFT solutions.


• Experience in working with traditional middleware and cloud integration capabilities

Role & Responsibilities:


• 
Translate technical requirements into specifications that will be used to implement integration solutions.


• 
Ensure integration specifications well document the necessary interface definitions, security and non-functional requirements, required protocols and required quality of service for further implementation.


• 
Develops criteria for and participates in the evaluation of integration solutions with Integration Architect.


• 
Assist with the delivery of releases and changes to test & verify implementation of integration pieces of work


• 
Provide input and co-ordinates with Integration Architect and Integration Tester on new specifications 


• 
Align to integration success criteria for specifications of new and existing integration implementations.


• 
Participating in Integration roadmap discussions and necessary impact assessments of incoming integration requests.


• 
Work with the external squads and internal integration development teams to ensure that the specification design is fully understood, and all design gaps are closed and ensure that all development activities are being addressed.


• 
Assist with difficult maintenance efforts by analyzing and tracing integration analysis and designs to requirements (business and functional) and systems architecture.


• 
Work closely with Integration tester in ratifying test cases and test execution


• 
Collaborate with Integration Architect in distilling requirements and integration request against agreed integration principles and patterns
