Introduction and requirements

Customer Service Representative / Internal Sales Consultant

Position exists with a well-established national client for an Internal Sales Consultant.

This position is 3 month fixed term contract and based in office full time in Montague Gardens, Cape Town

Salary is negotiable based on experience.

The successful candidate must already be established in Cape Town and not looking to relocate.

Essential requirements (you have to meet this in order to be considered for the role – if you don't, please don't apply)

  • Matric or equivalent NQF
  • Good telephone experience and the ability to communicate effectively.
  • Understanding and commitment to customer satisfaction objectives.
  • Computer literacy and knowledge of internal administrative procedures.
  • Knowledge of products and packs.
  • Experience with ISO 9001 – QMS Procedures and manuals would be highly advantageous.

Daily tasks (not limited to):

  • Selling of products internally
  • Capturing order electronically and producing invoices.
  • Arranging samples requested from the Key Accounts Manager
  • Control all pricing and liaising with customers – email price lists to customers.
  • Attend to back orders
  • Update back-order report
  • Phoning customers for orders when required.
  • Liaison with dispatch on deliveries.
  • Processing credit notes.
  • General admin duties
  • Stock count
