Assistant Manager / Supervisor

Location: Katlehong, Alberton
Salary: R12 000 – R14 000 per month
Start Date: ASAP
Working Hours: 6 days per week, 9:00 – 18:00, Sundays on rotation

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise cashiers and oversee daily sales operations

  • Balance and report daily sales and cash flow

  • Assist the manager with stock orders and receiving

  • Manage staff in the absence of the manager

  • Ensure excellent customer service and a professional store environment

  • Maintain order, cleanliness, and efficiency in the store

  • Assist with general administrative and operational duties

Minimum Requirements:
  • Matric / National Senior Certificate

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a managerial or supervisory position

  • Experience in a supermarket or retail environment will be an advantage

  • Strong computer skills (MS Excel and Word essential)

  • POS system experience beneficial

  • Good communication skills (English; with Zulu or Xhosa)

  • Toesig hou oor kassiere en daaglikse verkoopsaktiwiteite

  • Verslagdoening oor verkope en balansering van kontantontvangstes

  • Bied bystand aan die bestuurder met voorraadbestellings en -ontvangs.

  • Bestuur van personeel in die afwesigheid van die bestuurder

  • Verseker uitstekende kliëntediens en 'n professionele winkelervaring

  • Handhaaf orde, netheid en doeltreffendheid in die winkel

  • Bied ondersteuning met administratiewe en operasionele take soos benodig.

Minimum Vereistes:
  • Matriek / Nasionale Senior Sertifikaat

  • Minimum 2 jaar ervaring in 'n bestuurs- of toesighoudende posisie

  • Ervaring in 'n supermark- of kleinhandelsomgewing is 'n voordeel

  • Goeie rekenaarvaardighede (MS Excel en Word verpligtend)

  • Ervaring met POS-stelsels is voordelig

  • Goeie kommunikasievaardighede (Engels; en Zulu of Xhosa)
