We have a congregation of about 150 people and have experienced incredible growth over the last few years. We are located in Rivonia, Johannesburg and have a diverse congregation from all walks of life.

Our ideal candidate will meet the following criteria:

  • A real, dynamic, personal relationship with God.

  • Someone who is passionate about the church and serving God's people.

  • A dynamic and faithful preacher and teacher of God's Word.

  • Someone who can pastorally engage with and serve the spiritual and practical needs of the congregation.

  • The pastor leads the church from a practical perspective in terms of day to day function and therefore needs to be able to effectively manage, plan, co-ordinate and lead the staff and volunteers.

  • The pastor will provide spiritual leadership and pastoral care to the congregation, fostering a culture of faith, love, and service.

  • This person also needs to manage and plan worship services and all other activities in the life of the church.

  • The pastor will work with church leadership (elders) and staff to establish and execute a vision and strategic plan for the church's growth and leadership development.

  • He/she will also engage and build relationships within the local community, participating in outreach and mission activities, and collaborating with other organisations to address community needs.

Our ideal candidate will:

  • Hold a theological / divinity / pastoral degree.
  • Have at least 5 years' experience in ministry.
  • Have management experience.
