Inside Sales Executive – Durban Office (Supporting UK Dental Market)

Full-Time | Office-Based | Durban, South Africa

We are seeking a motivated and commercially driven Inside Sales Executive to join our growing Durban team, supporting our UK dental customers, groups, and partners. This role is ideal for an individual who thrives in a consultative sales environment, is confident engaging customers remotely, and is passionate about driving revenue growth across consumables, equipment, and digital solutions.

Purpose of the Role

The Inside Sales Executive plays a vital role in driving commercial success by managing and developing strong relationships with dental practices and partner accounts. Working across outbound and inbound channels, you will support the UK field sales team, execute targeted campaigns, and contribute to consistent revenue and margin growth.

Key Responsibilities

1. Sales & Account Development

  • Work within a matrix structure, receiving strategic direction from sales leadership and day-to-day guidance via the Contact Centre leadership team.
  • Proactively manage and grow a portfolio of UK dental practices and group accounts through outbound calls, email outreach, and virtual meetings.
  • Identify opportunities to cross-sell consumables, small equipment, and digital solutions.
  • Support field-based colleagues by nurturing leads and maintaining engagement between practice visits.
  • Achieve or exceed monthly sales, margin, and activity targets.

2. Customer Relationship Management

  • Build strong, trusted relationships with principals, practice managers, and procurement contacts.
  • Deliver an excellent customer experience with accurate, timely, and professional communication.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate CRM records, capturing opportunities, interactions, and follow-ups.
  • Escalate potential on-site opportunities or customer issues to the appropriate field representatives.

3. Collaboration & Team Support

  • Work collaboratively with sales leadership, the field sales team, and product specialists to ensure consistent messaging and seamless account support.
  • Partner with Marketing to deliver call-out campaigns, webinars, promotions, and digital engagement initiatives.
  • Share customer feedback, competitor insights, and market trends to support strategic decision-making.

4. Process & Performance

  • Manage a structured daily call plan aligned with growth priorities and target accounts.
  • Maintain an in-depth understanding of the company's product portfolio, pricing, and service offerings.
  • Ensure all customer information is compliant, accurate, and well-documented.
  • Contribute to a positive, high-performing team culture.

Key Skills & Experience

  • Proven success in telephone-based sales or account management (B2B healthcare or dental sector experience advantageous).
  • Strong communication and relationship-building abilities.
  • Commercially minded with the ability to identify, nurture, and convert sales opportunities.
  • Confident using CRM platforms and digital communication tools.
  • Self-motivated, results-focused, and highly organised.
  • A strong team player with a solution-oriented, proactive approach.

KPIs & Performance Measures

  • Sales revenue and margin performance against targets.
  • Customer retention, satisfaction, and engagement levels.
  • New account activations and category penetration growth.
  • CRM accuracy, opportunity tracking, and call activity metrics.
  • Collaboration feedback from field teams and management.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: R18 000,00 - R25 000,00 per month
