Sales & Proposal Engineer

Responsibilities:
- Develop new and maintain existing client relationships
- Selection and analysis of business opportunities
- Prepare and manage tender documents for EPC projects.
- Review client specifications and identify technical and commercial requirements.
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and finance teams to prepare bid proposals.
- Conduct cost estimation and pricing based on market data and supplier quotes.
- Present bid strategy and risk assessments to management for approval.
- Maintain client and stakeholder relationships during bid development.
- Support contract negotiations and project handover after award.
- Track bid outcomes and maintain a bid database for performance analysis.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in sales or tendering within the EPC project bidding processes sector.
- Strong knowledge of Eskom standards and South African grid codes.
- Proven experience with EPC project bidding processes.
- Proficiency in MS Office and project costing software.
- Excellent communication and report writing skills.
- Previous work in an EPC company, Energy developer would be an added advantage.
- Valid Driver's Licence
