GC Solar is seeking a motivated and technically skilled TechnicalSales Representative to join our Cape Town branch, based at East Precinct,Montague Park. The successful candidate will be responsible for drivingtechnical sales across our full product range, focusing on productspecification, new business development, and project implementation forend -user clients in the electrical and infrastructure sectors.About GC SolarGC Solar is a leading national supplier and solardistributor since 2011, based in Johannesburg and in Cape Town. With a focus on sustainability, we have a team of engineers and supplysolutions for utilities, mines, and commercial buildings, leading the way inSouth Africa's solar energy transition.Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development· Proactively identify and engage with new clients· Maintain and grow strong relationships withcontractors, consultants, and key industry stakeholders Technical Sales & Product Specification· Prepare technical proposals, tenders, andquotations· Conduct on -site technical presentations andproduct demos· Represent GC Solar at industry events, expos,and customer meetings Project & Client Management· Oversee project implementation, ensuring timelydelivery and quality compliance· Ensure technical requirements are met throughaccurate product specification CRM & Reporting· Maintain detailed records of sales activities inGC Solar's CRM system· Submit regular performance and pipeline reportsto management RequirementsCandidate RequirementsQualifications:N4 or equivalent in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field Experience:· Minimum 1 year in a technical sales environment· Proven track record in product specification andproject -based sales· Experience in the South African electrical industryis a strong advantage Skills:· Strong communication and presentation skills· Excellent organizational and project managementabilities· Ability to work independently and takeinitiative· Detail -oriented with accurate administrative andreporting habits Additional Requirements· Valid driver's license and own vehicle· Willingness to travel locally and regionally asrequired· Flexibility to work extended hours when needed BenefitsWhat We Offer· Base salary: R25,000 – R 35,000 /month· Commission based on performance· The opportunity to work with a reputable brandin a growth -driven industry How to ApplyApply directly through our recruitment platform via ZohoRecruit.
