Synopsis:
A Frontline Practice Administrator position is available at First Care Solutions (Pty) Ltd based at Arwyp
Private Hospital Emergency in Kempton Park. This is a permanent position which reports to the Practice
Administration Supervisor and is responsible for overseeing the practice operations and reception
function. Excellent frontline communication skills required.
Skills Required:
• Matriculation certificate
• 3+ years' experience as a Practice Administrator
• Practice reception management skills required
• Intermediate experience in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint)
• Excellent frontline communication
• Microsoft SharePoint end user experience an advantage

Daily Key Functions:
Admissions / Patient Accounts
• Greet and welcome walk-in patients and explain the triage procedure
• Admit walk-in patients onto the practice management application
• Process a patient validation to confirm medical aid details (real-time medical aids only) via the
benefit checker website.
• Request the patient / guarantor to sign the appropriate terms and conditions
• Bill account with correct tariff code and ICD 10 codes onto billing software as detailed by the
practitioner.
• Remit cash payment/ credit card receipts from the appropriate cashbook to the patient /
guarantor's account
• Submit account to medical aid.
• Collect any patient liable amounts.
• Issue the patient / guarantor with a tax invoice and receipt for visit
• Capture daily statistics for the practice.
• Shift work.
Account Queries
• Explain practice fees and account submission process
• Ensure excellent patient communication and overall satisfaction
• Follow the complaint and query resolution process
WCA
• IOD paperwork collection and checks at time of consultation
• Collate and submit to account and supporting documents to head office
Facilities Management
• Ensure stationery and office supplies are at the appropriate level
Weekly Tasks
Banking
• Cash-ups and banking
